3nd annual Fighting Fentanyl
5K Run/Walk
Deaths (poisonings) from fake pills with fentanyl are surging across the country and has directly hit our community with the death of our son, Cooper Davis, on August 29, 2021. This alarming epidemic has inspired an annual Fighting Fentanyl 5K run/walk to help educate and spread awareness to our community.
Date: June 15, 2024
Time: 8:00 a.m. Kids Fun Run (Mill Valley Stadium)
8:30 a.m. 5K Run/Walk
Place: Mill Valley High School
5900 Monticello Rd
Shawnee, KS 66226
Distance: Kids Fun Run - 400 Meter (one lap around the track)
5K
Awards: 5K-TOP 3 ineach age group (male and female) and OVERALL male and female
ALL who complete the 5K will receive a finisher's medal
Fun Run - all particpants will receive a prize
Age Groups: Fun Run - ages 10 and under (not timed, a parent may accoumpany the tots)
5K - 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
Fees: Fun Run (10 & under) - $15.00 before June 13
$25.00 - Race Day
5K (18 & under/student) - $20.00 before June 13
$30.00 - Race Day
5K (19 & over) - $30.00 through April 30
$35.00 May 1-June 13
$40.00 - Race Day
T-shirt and/or size only guaranteed for refistrations before May 24
