Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share that I’m supporting the Cooper Davis Memorial Foundation by participating in the Fighting Fentanyl Race. Whether running in the race or raising funds, my goal is to make a difference in our community by increasing awareness about the dangers of illicit fentanyl and counterfeit pills.
Every day, lives are tragically cut short because public awareness is too low. The Cooper Davis Memorial Foundation works tirelessly to educate young people, parents, and the community, giving them the knowledge they need to prevent such losses.

Why this matters to me:
On May 15, 2024 at 11:30 at night I answered a knock on our door that changed our lives in a way I can't describe. There was a police detective on our porch to tell us that our son, Jonathan, has passed away and that the suspected cause was fentanyl poisoning. This cause of death was later confirmed by the medical examiner. Both Paula and I have wished over and over again that we had a Time Machine and could go back and prevent this from happening. Unfortunately, that is not possible so instead we do all we can now to spread the word and help educate others. Our hope is that if we tell our story to enough people that we can prevent another family from this terrible pain of loss that can't be fixed.
